BioA Journal of Creative Strategies for Everyday Evolution, Revolution general Volition and whathaveyou.
Wake up, it's time to dig some new trajectories!
This journal has awaited birth for years now. And now, at the dawning of the summer solstice, I have decided to put it forth. Manifest, I say. The impetus behind this still slimy post natal journal is to gather a creative and dedicated collective of jouralers to keep track of our creative endeavours, projects and ideas with the idea that by so doing, we will be keeping the grey matter well creased and actively engaged in finding and reframing its own limits.
Weekly creative assignments will be given out either by me or on a rotational basis. Or we can play "tag, you're it." Which means, we are all doling out the instructions and all following the instructions. It is a creative truth or dare. Don't join if you can't participate. When posting an assignment, specify how you want the proof. Is it a writing assignment? Do you need photos? Does this require accessories? Is it an activity? etc. Almost anything can go. Anything can be material for the creation of art, ourselves and our own ideas and patterns most of all. More than passive voyeurism is a must. This is a "just do it" adventure.
Feel free to plagerize ideas from anywhere. There is no authority, there is no one author. If you take an idea from an artist or webpage or what have you, post it so that we can share in the discoveries. Inspiration is not a game of monopoly.
Due to the nature of the project, all posts should be made friend's only. We should be both critical and also encouraging. We are here to share, push ourselves and grow a bit, I hope. If interested in joining, please leave a comment. And away we go....
